From our good friend Adam at 11:11am who represented DJF on the Warped Tour this summer:
While on the Vans Warped Tour for the Dear Jack Foundation and 11:11 A.M. this summer, I had the unique opportunity to document the journey with a Polaroid ProPack. It took approximately two years of searching and planning to save up the films that I used in this project, as Polaroid discontinued the pull and peel style film.
“A Glimpse” gives the reader a rare, behind-the-scenes look into life on a tour bus for fifty-two days across the United States and Canada. Included in the books are photographs of members from Jack’s Mannequin, Hey Monday, We Are The In Crowd, and The Casualties. Readers will also learn about various photography techniques and films, and see how Polaroid film is a unique and incomparable type of photography.
Starting today, $1 from each book sold will be donated to the Dear Jack Foundation and it’s mission to help raise awareness for young adult cancer awareness. This is a cause I truly believe in and have been working with for five years.
