With the combined efforts of the Light The Night Team Jack’s Mannequin-Dear Jack Foundation, Team MATT, and a grant from the Dear Jack Foundation, we raised over $120,000 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2010. We’re happy to announce that the research grant chosen to be named in our team’s honor is going to Dr. Ludovic Deriano at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Deriano’s pathology research project focuses upon identifying and analyzing the mechanisms that promote genomic instability due to incorrect chromosomal rearrangements in developing B and T cell lymphocytes, causing leukemia and lymphoma.
